Hi, I’m Tracey, the creative director behind Pop Up Weddings Tasmania.
I have been part of the events and hospitality industry for most of my working life. Taking the leap to becoming a registered celebrant in 2012 was just the start of what has become a grand adventure that was a dream realised when Pop Up Weddings Tasmania launched in 2014.
As a celebrant I found myself officiating ceremonies at locations like Cradle Mountain and noticed many of these couples were travelling from interstate to Tasmania to get married. Of course they needed recommendations for photographers, hair and make up artists, florists, caterers….everything really which is when I realised there was a real ‘gap’ for couples wanting a simple elopement or destination wedding organised easily.
Having had extensive experience in coordinating events – it was a logical next step for me to step into the Wedding Planner/ Co-ordiantor role and Pop Up Weddings Tasmania was born.
Starting with just a few locations around Tasmania it soon grew to cover a vast range of locations (18 on offer currently!) with teams of wedding experts to choose from Statewide.
It was vital that the vendors we offer to couples are the best so I hand pick each one and ensures we only work with those I would be happy using for my own wedding.We are grateful to have lots of wedding industry experts based in Tasmania who are passionate about what they do to offer to our couple. We have done the ground work so you can ensure you get the most experienced experts in their fields.
Everything is your choice when it comes to your wedding package, we will walk you through the whole process. You get to decide on the photographer, your hair and make up artist, how your flowers look, what flavour your cake is….every detail same and large that you want to choose is up to you.
From the start, the goal of Pop Up Wedding was to offer a stress-free experience from beginning to end! It is a myth that weddings are stressful – they’re not! Well, not with Pop Up Weddings Tasmania.
The biggest complaint we get from couples is that they’re stressed because they’re not stressed and they feel like they’re forgetting something!
We’re the ones who keep everything and everyone on track so couples can just turn up, relax and enjoy every moment of their wedding day ❤
Tasmania is where I live and where I love. I moved away for 11 years – and lived overseas and interstate – but there’s nowhere like home and nowhere like Tasmania to get married.
