The Cove is located on the North West Coast of Tasmania only minutes from the city of Devonport and offers a magical backdrop for your wedding.
Facilities include accommodation for 26, The Alexander Complex and views of the Tasmanian coastline, rolling farmland, beautiful beaches and a full range of services – we specialise in small intimate micro weddings and elopements.
We offer you the opportunity to hire the property and plan your whole day in conjunction with our wedding coordinator, take advantage of one of our tailor made packages (which also gives you lots of flexibility and choice) or have a package tailored to suit your exact requirements. We have tailor made packages to take the hassle your of your day – or we can just provide the property (with some guidelines) for couples who would like to do everything themselves and liaise with our venue manager.

Elope at The Cove
(A private elopement just for the bridal couple)
Your Package includes:

Two nights accommodation for the bridal couple at Villa Two Five Six, (where the ceremony will take place) including breakfast provisions
- Location fee for your ceremony and photos
- Your legal ceremony and paperwork with our celebrant including your marriage certificate from births, deaths and marriages after your wedding
- Bridal hair and make up (at the Villa)
- Bridal flowers – bouquet and buttonhole
- Professional photography including 150 images edited and provided as a downloadable gallery (6 photographers to choose from)
- Grazing platter and champagne on arrival
- (Witnesses provided if required)
Package Cost: $5,400.00
* Applicable for non Saturdays dates during Spring/Summer. Available all year round for other seasons.
* Extra guests to attend your ceremony can be added to this package to a maximum of 8 people total inc bridal couple
Intimate Wedding at The Cove
(Up to 30 people)
Your Package includes:
- Two nights accommodation for the bridal couple at Villa Two Five Six including breakfast
provisions - Two nights accommodation in all other Cove accommodation (13 rooms – King beds only)
- Location fee for your ceremony and photos
- Your legal ceremony and paperwork with our celebrant including your marriage certificate
from births, deaths and marriages after your wedding - Bridal hair and make up (at the Villa)
- Bridal flowers – bouquet and buttonhole
- Professional photography including 200 images edited and provided as a downloadable
gallery (6 photographers to choose from) - Set up and basic styling for your ceremony and reception dinner at the Alexander Centre (in
consultation) - Grazing board between your ceremony and reception for 30 adults
- Degustation meal (5 course) for 30 adults at The Alexander Centre deck (exact menu done in
consultation with bridal couple) - Wedding cake for your dessert (style, look and flavour to be advised)

The Basalt Wedding
(Up to 60 people)
Your package includes:
- Two nights accommodation for the bridal couple at Villa Two Five Six including breakfast provisions
- Two nights accommodation in all other Cove accommodation (13 rooms – King beds only)
- Location fee for your ceremony and photos
- Your legal ceremony and paperwork with our celebrant including your marriage certificate from births, deaths and marriages after your wedding
- Bridal hair and make up (at the Villa)
- Bridal flowers – bouquet and buttonhole
- Professional photography including 250+ images edited and provided as a downloadable gallery (6 photographers to choose from)
- Exclusive use of Basalt Restaurant for your reception for up to 60 guests
- Grazing board between your ceremony and reception for 60 adults
- Feasting style or 2 course set menu for your reception dinner (exact menu done in consultation with bridal couple)
- Wedding cake for your dessert (style, look and flavour to be advised)
Total cost: $32,950.00
* Applicable all year round except Saturdays during Spring/Summer.

* Maximum guests 60 including bridal couple.
** Canape reception option available for additional cost for up to 120 guests in total
The Cove Diy Wedding Details
The Cove offers some great options for couples to add their individual style and feel for their
wedding day.
We have someone on hand with a wealth of experience who can advise you on ways to
make sure that you are complying with all of the requirements and to make the most of
what our property has to offer.
The Cove is available at the following rates for couples all year round:
Starting from:
Elopements $1,900.00 (including accommodation in Villa TwoFiveSix only)
Weddings (up to 30 adults in total) $13,900.00
Weddings (up to 60 adults in total) $21,900.00
Weddings (up to 120 adults in total) $23,900.00
Includes: 2 nights accommodation in Villa TwoFiveSix and all other Cove accommodation.
Exclusive use of The Cove and all facilities for the 30 guests staying at the property.
All guests (apart from those staying on site) are the be bused too and from The Cove for
any weddings of these sizes.
Car spaces are only available for those guests occupying the accommodation.
The Alexander Centre is only available for guests staying at the property during the
wedding.
The whole property is available for the bridal couple and their bridal party for photos etc.
